PVC shrink film is easy to use, easy to seal and easy to shrink on both old and new machinery. PVC heat shrink film has a strong crinkly brittle texture and is the alternative to Polyolefin shrink film which is softer to touch or feel. P.V.C heat shrink film shrinks at low temperatures and is ideal for gift baskets, CD’s & software and works well with a Shrink a Pack unit that utilises a heat gun to shrink the film. PVC or Polyvinyl Chloride shrink film is not recommended for the use directly onto food products. PVC heat shrink film comes in centre fold film or is available is shrink sleeves.

Shrink Sleeves are used over any shaped or sized object for banding of two odd shaped items and/or for tamper evident seals or containment. For example, banding two bottles together for promotional use; pharmaceuticals with tamper evident seals; or a pack of six masking tapes. They are generally used in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and general consumable markets. Shrink sleeves are placed over the product and shrunk through the use of a shrink tunnel so the sleeve will snugly fit and match the shape of the product. Get Packed can arrange for your shrink sleeves to be cut to any length or diameter and with perforations for easy opening. Custom printing can also be arranged.

POLYETHYLENE SHRINK FILM

Polyethylene shrink film is the most popular plastic shrink film in the world. Low Density Polyethylene single wound shrink film provides a protective shell for storage or transportation and is ideal for the bundling or collating of products such as a 6 pack of beer or bottles of water, dog food and grocery items. Polyethylene or PE shrink film is available in a variety of gauges (thickness), colours and can be custom printed suit your individual requirements. Single wound PE shrink film is used with a sleeve wrapper or bundle wrapper also available from Get Packed. Shrink Bags or Pallet Shrink Bags are also made from Polyethylene shrink film.
