Polyester Strapping (PET) | Green PET Strap

Polyester Strapping or PET Strap is fast becoming the alternative to steel strapping in most applications in Australia. Polyester Strapping is more cost effective than steel strapping with substantial savings of up to 50% to be made when strapping a pallet, it is easier and safer to use. It is lighter than a roll of heavy rope steel strapping and also has no sharp edges making it safer to handle reducing potential work place injuries, it does not rust or stain packs of timber or pallets and is UV resistant. The advanced performance of Polyester strap absorbs high impacts effectively which retains the load in tack far better than steel strapping.

Polyester strap is available in various widths and thicknesses with breaking strains equal to or greater than steel strapping and comes either embossed or smooth. The Green PET strap can be used by both manual hand tools and battery powered hand tools like the Zapak 97 or the Pneumatic ZP28.
