Steel Strap is used to combine items or stabilise pallets where a high tensile strength is required. Steel strapping is the proven industry standard for many heavy-duty loads such as building frames or concrete pipes and is often sold by weight rather than length due to the natural expansion and contraction in the process of manufacturing.
Steel strapping comes in either RIBBON (RIB) form, which is small hand rolls or ROPE, which are longer industrial rolls. It is available in standard grade for standard everyday palletising or high tensile heat treated for heavy-duty palletising applications and is available in 12mm, 15mm, 19mm & 32mm. Steel strap dispensers are available for either RIB or ROPE strapping.
