Vacuumatic

Vacuumatic Ltd was officially registered on March 27, 1951, as a subsidiary of Portals, the renowned security paper manufacturer. The company was established to produce a paper counting machine based on a Swedish patented design acquired by Portals. By November of that same year, the first prototype paper counting machine underwent an extensive one-month trial at Portals’ Security Paper Mill in Overton, UK.

Since its inception, Vacuumatic has been at the forefront of innovation, pioneering machinery that automatically counts and batches sheets of paper with 100% accuracy. Adapting continuously to the evolving market, Vacuumatic has led the way in designing and developing count control equipment for the paper and printing industries.

In recent years, the company has expanded its expertise to include machines for counting board and plastic materials, as well as marking devices tailored for the Web Industry.
