Update on Market Conditions

12th June 2026

Dear Valued Customer,

We would like to provide a further update on current market conditions and the factors that continue to affect packaging, manufacturing, and transport costs.

Ongoing conflict in the Middle East remains a source of uncertainty for global supply chains and commodity markets. Although oil prices have received less media attention in recent weeks, geopolitical tensions and supply concerns continue to influence fuel, freight, and manufacturing costs.

Oil prices have fluctuated considerably since the conflict began, contributing to higher fuel costs both internationally and across Australia. While prices at the bowser have eased from some of the peaks seen earlier this year, they remain elevated relative to historical levels and may continue to fluctuate as global conditions evolve.

Within the packaging and manufacturing sectors, most consumable costs and transport-related fuel levies have now stabilised. Although these expenses have not declined, the rapid increases seen throughout the first half of the year appear to have slowed, providing some welcome stability.

Raw material costs, however, remain under pressure. Prices for several key manufacturing materials have continued to rise in recent months, adding further pressure on production and supply costs.

There have been some positive developments in resin pricing, with costs easing slightly from their recent highs. While this movement is encouraging, the reduction is not yet sufficient to support lower selling prices. Current market indications suggest further easing may occur, and we remain cautiously optimistic that conditions could improve as we approach August.

We continue to monitor the market closely and work with our suppliers to manage costs and minimise price increases wherever possible.

More definitive pricing information is expected from our resin suppliers over the coming weeks. We will provide another market update at the beginning of July once this information is available.

Thank you for your continued support, understanding, and valued partnership.

Kind regards,
