Strapping Machine for Irregular Shaped Items, Timber and Frozen Food Packaging

The Side Seal Semi Automatic Strapping Machine is designed for strapping products from the side, making it ideal for irregular shaped items, timber bundles, frozen food packaging and products where moisture, debris or splinters may be present. Unlike a standard top-seal strapping machine, the sealing head is positioned to the side, helping reduce the risk of water, dust or timber fragments falling into the sealing area.

Products are placed on the adjustable work table, which can be raised or lowered to suit the application. The operator then feeds the strap into the machine, allowing the strapping machine to tension, heat seal and cut the plastic strap for a secure finish.

Available in a standard model or stainless steel model, this side seal strapping machine is suited to demanding packaging environments where a conventional semi automatic strapping machine may not be ideal.

Why use a side seal strapping machine?

A side seal strapping machine is useful where products are awkward, damp, cold or likely to shed loose material during the strapping process. By positioning the sealing head to the side, the machine helps keep moisture, timber splinters and product debris away from the sealing area.
