What is a Battery Powered Strapping Tool?

A Battery Powered Strapping Tool is a portable hand-held strapping tool used to tension, friction seal/weld and cut plastic strapping – all in one process using the power of a battery. They are commonly used for securing cartons, pallets, bundles and heavy consignments without the need for separate seals or buckles.

Different models offer different levels of automation. Some tools perform all three functions, while others may only friction weld and cut the strap after manual tensioning. The maximum tension capacity also varies between models, making certain tools better suited to heavier pallets, cartons or bundled goods.
