How to find the right recycler near you

It's become harder and harder to find recyclers of plastic since the collapse of REDCycle in late 2022. So we've found a Business Recycling Directory created by Planet Ark in partnershp with the NSW Environment Protection Agency (EPA) called Recycling Near You.

This website not only assists in finding local recyclers of plastic, but all items that not only include plastic bags and bubble wrap, but batteries, corrugated iron and even methane gas cylinders. It can help you find nearby services for re-use or recycling for up to 90 materials. It even asks if you'r recycling for a business or for a home as some recyclers will only accept materials from households.
