Akebono Banding Machine
The Akebono Paper Banding machine is an arch style tabletop machine for applying 28mm wide paper bands around small bundled items with low volume requirements. These paper banders can pack around 20 packs per minute and utilise a heat-sealing system to bond the material together, forming a neat, tidy seal around the item. The simple placement of the item on the table of the paper banding machine and activating the automatic photo eye or a foot pedal commences the cycle to band the product. Banding machines are commonly used in various printing applications for bundling envelopes, brochures, or small boxes in the pharmaceutical industry. The Akebono OB-360 uses both paper and film.
