Vacuum Packaging, vacuum packing and also known as Cryovacing is the process of eliminating air from packaging and the product within and sealing it closed using vacuum sealing machines thereby extending the life of perishable foods - and therefore is ideal for food suppliers - however it is also used to retain and maintain the sterilisation of items and so is also commonly used in the medical field.
