Builders plastic is used to provide a heavy-duty moisture barrier and provide weather protection in the building and construction trade as well as in transport and storage.

The heavy duty polythene builders film is used in the construction industry and placed under concrete slabs prior to pouring. It can also be used to protect new timber or tiled floors to protect them during construction. The wider rolls are centre folded on the roll - so that when unfolded they are as wide as 4m.

Builders plastic is available in black and clear and are available in different widths and thicknesses.
