What is Transfer Tape ?

The Adhesive Transfer Tape is an acrylic tape designed with high tack and pressure-sensitive properties. This tape features a solvent acrylic adhesive coated onto a siliconised paper liner. The tape is reverse wound onto specialised double-wall plastic cores, making it compatible with various Adhesive Transfer Guns. This unique reverse winding design facilitates easy dispensing through adhesive transfer tape applicators. It boasts exceptional resistance to both temperature and UV resistance and the ability to withstand aging over extended periods. Notably, the adhesive is pH-neutral, adding to its versatility.

Compared to double-sided tapes with adhesive on both sides of a backing or carrier, adhesive transfer tapes like Stylus T001 or 3M 924 consist solely of a thin adhesive film without a backing. This design imparts a floating layer of adhesive with no internal structure. This unique construction, along with its pressure-sensitive nature, marks adhesive transfer tapes as original pioneers in the realm of bonding solutions. Adhesive transfer tapes find widespread use in various bonding and laminating applications. They excel in conforming to diverse surfaces thanks to their exceptional conformability. With their strong adhesive properties and adaptable characteristics, adhesive transfer tapes remain reliable for creating robust bonds between different surfaces.
